About Us

Bernie was the Designated Broker and Owner of Puget Sound Property Management from 1996 – 2022. She began her long career in Property Management in Hawaii working with Chaney Brooks. She moved to Washington State in 1996 with her husband Doug and family to settle in the Puget Sound on Bainbridge Island which she loved. Bernie thoroughly enjoyed working with people whether it be owners, tenants, and vendors. If you didn’t see her smiling face as you walk into Puget Sound Property Management you might catch her at local garage sales which was something she loved to do on weekends. Her daughter, Heidi is honoring her legacy by running Puget Sound Property Management to the best of her ability for her Mom. Bernie was well known throughout the community and will be greatly missed.

Heidi began her customer service career in Hawaii over 35 years ago when she started as a lifeguard and then an Admission clerk for a hospital on Oahu & Maui. Heidi embarked on her Property Management career after moving to Washington State with her family in 2000 to help her Mom, Bernie, run the family business which she continues to operate today with a team of professionals. Heidi has experience working with Homeowners Association’s as a Property Manager and Maintenance coordinator. She has developed good relationships with many Kitsap County vendors which helps in providing excellent management services to owners in maintaining their investments. Heidi is a WA State licensed Designated Broker and a member of NARPM, National Association of Residential Property Managers and has been on board of directors for the Kitsap Chapter. She has earned her designation with NARPM as a Residential Managing Professional and keeps up with ongoing continuing education classes. PSPM also owns & operates Bainbridge Home Repairs, a handyman and cleaning company , that provides our clients and the community with experienced in-house maintenance staff.

Amanda is the Accounting Manager and is responsible for the daily financial operation of PSPM and been with the company for 10 years. She enjoys working with tenants and owners in providing financial guidance. Amanda graduated from Drake University with an Accounting degree in Business Administration and has over 30 years of accounting experience with the last 16 years being in Property Management. Prior to joining PSPM, Amanda was a Senior Accountant for a national Commercial Property Management firm out of Denver Colorado, where she also grew up. Amanda now loves working with PSPM in Residential Property Management and living on Bainbridge Island with her family. She enjoys being outdoors hiking, kayaking or doing yard work.

Tiffany was born in Bremerton, WA and grew up on Bainbridge Island, after High School she worked with Sound Publishing for 14 years providing advertising throughout community. Tiffany began her relationship with PSPM assisting with marketing for approximately 9 years gaining knowledge about the industry. In 2015, Tiffany started her career in property management with Puget Sound Property Management working for Heidi and Bernie as their Administrative Assistant. Tiffany took a break from property management to work at the Central Kitsap school district with special needs kids. In 2023, Tiffany started again with PSPM. She has recently passed the WA State Real Estate exam and is our new licensed Broker as a Property Manager. Tiffany takes great pride in developing relationships with management, tenants, owners, vendors, and the community. When she is not working, she enjoys the outdoors and dancing with a Country Line Dance team. She is also an Autism Mom and believes firmly in advocating for those who may not be able to do so for themselves.

Destiny was born in Renton, WA before moving to Ann Arbor, MI at a young age and raised there for majority of her life. In 2019, she moved to Tampa, FL and lived there for 3 years until relocating back to Washington to pursue her dreams of becoming involved in Real Estate. Destiny began working in the customer service field 6 years ago and has 2 years of managerial experience. In 2022, Destiny began her Real Estate career as an Assistant Property Manager with Puget Sound Property Management working diligently to provide excellent customer service ensuring customer needs are met while also assisting in the daily operations of the management company. She has recently completed WA licensed Real Estate Broker classes and is in the process of becoming a licensed Property Manager. In her spare time, Destiny enjoys spending time with friends and family, heading to the beach in Florida and has been known to enjoy hikes exploring the PNW.

Inga was born in Seattle and raised on Bainbridge Island. After graduating high school, she took a few months off to travel and ultimately decided to attend Western Washington University. In 2015, she took a job in Hangzhou, China, to teach English then returned to the U.S to work in the in finance and education. Fast forward to 2021 when she became a licensed Washington Real Estate Broker working on Bainbridge Island with Johansson Clarke Real Estate Company while raising her family on her family property. The job at PSPM came at the perfect time as Inga’s oldest just started kindergarten and gave her the time to add to her career in Real Estate. Inga is a welcome addition to the PSPM team and brings with her years of strong communication skills in customer service not to mention a passion for working in this industry. Please welcome Inga as our Maintenance Coordinator for Puget Sound Property Management. We look forward to watching her grow in this position and grateful to have her.

John, more known as “JB”, has lived in Kitsap County since 2008 working with Real Estate companies as a handyman. He began working with PSPM as an independent contractor in 2015 doing maintenance for our rental properties then transitioned to Bainbridge Home Repairs in 2020. JB specializes in painting, drywall patch and repair work, deck and fence repairs, pressure washing, and more. He is hardworking, reliable and enjoys going the extra mile for our tenants. Originally from Antigua in the Caribbean and is an avid musician/entertainer in his spare time. We are thrilled to have JB as part of our team.

Justin born in Hawai’i but raised in Kitsap County and a graduate from North Kitsap High School began working with PSPM as a fill in helping Bernie, the founder of PSPM, and more lovingly known to him as his Amah (Grandmother) while in High School and trained by his Dad who used to work with PSPM as the lead handyman. Justn brings his warm and friendly demeanor to the team and his willingness to lend a helping hand where needed. We are blessed to have Justin as part of our team when he’s free.
