Bernie Anderson was the Designated Broker and Owner of Puget Sound Property Management, Inc. from 1996 to 2022. Her career in property management began in Hawaii with Chaney Brooks, where she developed a deep passion for helping people find and care for their homes.

In 1996, Bernie moved to Washington State with her husband, Doug, and their family, settling on Bainbridge Island—a place she came to love dearly. She built lasting relationships with owners, tenants, and vendors, always greeting everyone with her warm smile and genuine kindness.

Outside of work, Bernie found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially browsing local garage sales on the weekends. Her vibrant spirit and love for the community touched countless lives.

Today, her daughter, Heidi Anderson, honors her legacy by running Puget Sound Property Management, Inc. with the same dedication and care that Bernie was known for. In the office, a sign hangs as a daily reminder of her guiding wisdom: “What Would Bernie Do?”

Bernie was a beloved member of the community and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Heidi Anderson began her customer service career in Hawai’i over 35 years ago, working on Oahu and Maui. In 2000, she moved to Washington State with her family and joined her mother, Bernie, in running the family business. Today, Heidi continues her mother’s legacy, operating Puget Sound Property Management, Inc. with a dedicated team of professionals.

Heidi’s experience spans from homeowners association management, residential, commercial and mulit-complex apartment property management, and maintenance management and coordination. Over the years, she has built strong relationships with trusted Kitsap County vendors, ensuring excellent service for both tenants and owners in maintaining their investments.

She is a Washington State licensed Designated Broker and an active member of NARPM (National Association of Residential Property Managers), where she has served on the board of directors for the Kitsap Chapter as President and Vice President not to mention volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity with the PSPM Team. Heidi has earned the designation of Residential Management Professional (RMP®) and stays current through ongoing continuing education and legislative updates.

In addition, Puget Sound Property Management, Inc. also owns and operates Bainbridge Home Repairs, a handyman and cleaning company that provides clients and the local community with experienced in-house maintenance staff.

Amanda Ulehla serves as the Accounting Manager for Puget Sound Property Management, Inc. overseeing the daily financial operations and providing valuable financial guidance to both tenants and owners. She has been a dedicated member of the PSPM team for over 10 years.

Amanda graduated from Drake University with a degree in Accounting and Business Administration and brings over 30 years of accounting experience, with the last 16 years focused on property management. Before joining PSPM, she worked as a Senior Accountant for a national commercial property management firm based in Denver, Colorado—where she also grew up.

Now, Amanda enjoys the rewarding work of residential property management with PSPM and loves living on Bainbridge Island with her family. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors—hiking, kayaking, and working in her yard.

Tiffany Walker was born in Bremerton, Washington, and grew up on Bainbridge Island. After high school, she spent 14 years with Sound Publishing, providing advertising throughout the community. During that time, she developed a strong connection with Puget Sound Property Management, Inc., assisting with marketing for nearly nine years and gaining valuable insight into the property management industry.

In 2015, Tiffany officially began her property management career with PSPM, working alongside Heidi and Bernie Anderson as an Administrative Assistant. She later stepped away to work with the Central Kitsap School District, supporting special needs children, before returning to PSPM in 2023 with a renewed dedication to serving the community. Tiffany has since passed the Washington State Real Estate exam and is now a licensed Broker specializing in Property Management.

Tiffany takes great pride in building lasting relationships with tenants, owners, vendors, and the community. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors and dancing with a country line dance team. She is also a proud Autism mom and is deeply passionate about advocating for those who may not be able to advocate for themselves.

Destiny Liburd was born in Renton, Washington, before moving at a young age to Ann Arbor, Michigan, where she spent most of her life. In 2019, she relocated to Tampa, Florida, for three years before returning to Washington to pursue her dream of building a career in real estate.

Destiny began working in the customer service field six years ago and has two years of managerial experience. In 2022, she officially began her real estate journey by joining Puget Sound Property Management, Inc. as an Assistant Property Manager. She works diligently to provide excellent customer service, ensuring client needs are met while assisting with the daily operations of PSPM. Destiny has recently completed the Washington State Real Estate Broker coursework and is in the process of becoming a licensed Property Manager.

In her free time, Destiny enjoys spending time with family and friends and exploring the Pacific Northwest.
